Scalable, technology-based biodiversity monitoring is the dream for many land-use investors looking to prove their positive impacts – but how close are we to that dream, and what options are currently out there?

This online panel discussion will focus on the current state of biodiversity monitoring technologies and how they can be used by financial actors to account for risks and positive impacts in land use projects. Panellists will highlight the latest technological and market trends of existing and new tools, from satellite data to eDNA. They will also elaborate on investor capacity needed to ensure high-quality implementation.

The event will be particularly tailored to the role of impact funds and other investors in this space and will assist them with understanding how they can integrate biodiversity monitoring into their investment processes.
